Ephesians Six Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a martial arts academy located at 424 S Washington Street in Pilot Point, Texas. Founded in 2025, the academy serves local families as well as students traveling from Aubrey, Denton, and Sanger. Instruction is provided by experienced coaches including João Matheus, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt originally from Rio de Janeiro who was promoted by Professors Rafael 'Formiga' Barbosa and Darwin Falcão. The coaching staff brings competitive pedigree from the IBJJF World Championship and UFC Fight Pass Invitational. Grappling instruction covers positional control, leverage, sweeps, and submissions across gi and no-gi formats. Class programming features Little Shields for toddlers aged three to five, Young Swords for kids aged five to eight, youth and teen divisions, dedicated homeschool martial arts, and adult classes. The academy also hosts Friday Bible Study sessions and offers prospective students a free introductory trial class.
