Ethos Jiu Jitsu operates as Ethos BJJ at 1310 West Douglas Avenue in Wichita, KS. The academy maintains operating hours from 09:30 am to 08:00 pm, with walk-in visitors permitted to try a week for free. Instruction is directed by head instructor Tyler Schuckman, a black belt who began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2009 at age 15. Schuckman received his black belt in 2021 under Claudney Borracha and the Tozi brothers, followed by his 1st degree black belt in 2024, and continues to compete while representing Tozi JJ. The academy provides morning and evening Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training alongside dedicated kids classes for ages 8-13, Friday no-gi sessions, Saturday review, and Sunday open mat. Membership plans include a single person rate of 125 dollars monthly for unlimited classes Monday through Sunday, with discounted 100 dollar rates for military and first responders.
