Evolution MMA Chicago - Schaumburg delivers combat sports and martial arts conditioning at 1207 Remington Road, Suite 105, in Schaumburg, Illinois. The facility features 2,500 square feet of mat space, providing grappling and striking instruction for students across the Chicagoland area. Ground grappling is led by Sean Burke, a two-time black belt masters World Champion who was among the first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belts in Chicago and founded Force Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu before joining Alliance in 2015. The jiu-jitsu staff includes fundamentals instructor Kurt alongside no-gi coach Brett, a black belt specializing in leg locks, darce chokes, and guillotine submissions. Striking instruction is directed by Muay Thai coach Chris Thake, who has trained since the era of UFC 1 under Keith Hackney, boxing coach Dean Mangano, and kickboxing coach Lukasz Banach. Academy coursework includes gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, boxing classes focused on punch mechanics and footwork, and Muay Thai kickboxing. Training covers positional control, submissions, defensive movement, and combat conditioning.
