Fight Capital Gym operates a combat sports and martial arts training center at 3071 S Valley View Boulevard in Las Vegas, Nevada. Established as the first mixed martial arts facility in Nevada, the gym delivers combat training for beginners and competitive fighters. The academy is owned by former professional boxer Skipper Kelp, a two-time National Golden Gloves champion with a 24-4-1 professional record who coached the UNLV boxing team to a 2006 national collegiate title. Grappling instruction is directed by head jiu-jitsu instructor Leo Ramos, a Rio de Janeiro native who trained under Andre Pederneiras and earned his black belt from Rodrigo Medeiros. Coaching is supported by former professional champion King David Sample alongside trainers Jason Crocco and Eddie Moreno. Coursework encompasses adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, amateur and professional boxing, Muay Thai, mixed martial arts, and youth martial arts serving students starting at age 3. Training covers takedowns, submission finishes, pad striking, and conditioning. Prospective members can sign up online for a free trial class.
