Forward BJJ operates at 3224 University Avenue in Madison, WI 53705, situated inside the Shorewood Hills Shopping Center. Prospective students can book a free class to begin training. The coaching staff is led by Cristian da Costa, who serves as Head Instructor · Black Belt. Instructional leadership also includes Ara Kim, serving as an Instructor · Black Belt, alongside Japeth Flores-Franco, who serves as Program Director and Coach · Brown Belt, and Taylor Hartman, who teaches as a Coach · Brown Belt. Class programming features Gi - Fundamentals, No-Gi - Fundamentals, Gi - Intermediate/Advanced, and No-Gi - Intermediate/Advanced. The weekly schedule also includes Wrestling and an Open Mat. Youth classes provide training through Kids - Little Champions ( Ages 4-7 ) and Kids - Juniors ( Ages 8-12 ). Membership options include a 12-month commitment at $150 / month, a 6-month commitment at $175 / month, or a Month-to-month option at $199 / month, each featuring unlimited classes included.
