Gary Grate Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy of Carson City operates at 301 Hot Springs Rd. #5 in Carson City, NV 89706. The school has been located in Carson City since 2012 as a locally owned & operated academy. Instruction is founded by Gary Grate, a 5th Degree Charles Gracie Black Belt. The Carson City coaching staff also features black belt instructors Paul Abeyta, Nicolas Conroy, and Michael Childs, alongside children coach John Brummer. The facility offers martial arts programs including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay-Thai, Wrestling, Judo, Anti-Bully Program, Self-Defense, and MMA. Training accommodates men, women, and children of all levels for ages 4 & up. The school provides discounts available for military, veterans, law enforcement, first responders, and family members joining together.
