Glasscore Judo

Glasscore Judo is a traditional martial arts club situated at 1905 S. Victory Blvd, Unit 1, in Glendale, California. Drawing inspiration from the competitive heritage of the Mutafyan family, the dojo provides classical Kodokan judo instruction focusing on physical discipline, balance mechanics, and mutual respect on the mat. The coaching lineage connects to Arayik Mutafyan, former Chairman of the Ararat District Judo Federation in Armenia, and Harutyun Mutafyan, a third-dan black belt, Junior Pan American Championship Team member, and senior competitor fighting at 90 kilograms on the IJF World Tour. Classes follow a structured format beginning with breakfalls and ukemi safety fundamentals before advancing to technical instruction, push-push partner exercises, and twenty to thirty minutes of live randori sparring. Sessions conclude with cool-down reflection, traditional Rei bow-out ceremonies, and supplemental acrobatics and stretching.
