Gordo Jiu Jitsu Academy

Gordo Jiu Jitsu Academy is located at 1637 Bonaventure Boulevard in Weston, Florida 33326. The training school was voted Best of Florida in the Martial Arts Training Facilities category, and provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction. The academy was founded by Roberto Correa de Lima, who was raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and started training Jiu-Jitsu in 1986, at the age of 15. A coral belt known worldwide as Gordo, he developed the half-guard position and became celebrated as the king of the half guard. Roberto Correa de Lima has been teaching Jiu-Jitsu for over 30 years and has formed great champions in both Jiu-Jitsu and MMA. The academy was also selected for the Best of Weston Awards for Martial Arts School and inducted into the Weston Business Hall of Fame.
