Gracie Barra Anniston / Evolution Strength & Conditioning operates at 905 Noble St in Anniston, Alabama. Established in 2014, the academy provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction, personal fitness training, and athletic conditioning for practitioners and families across the Anniston community. Instruction is led by gym owner Lance Hagan, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Kaliffa Oliveira who brings twenty-five years of martial arts training experience. The coaching roster also features Head Coach Daniel Paul, who earned his brown belt in September 2024, alongside kids instructor Conner Owen, an IBJJF tournament competitor with a background in scholastic wrestling. Academy coursework features distinct divisions tailored by age and development. Grappling classes include kids BJJ for ages 3 to 6, youth BJJ for ages 7 to 13, and adult BJJ for ages 14 and older. The facility also provides personal training in strength and conditioning as well as an athletic recovery room featuring a sauna and cold plunge.
