Gracie Barra Columbus - Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Self Defense provides structured martial arts instruction and practical self-defense education at 5899 Karric Square Drive in Dublin, Ohio. Operating as the first Gracie Barra academy established in the state of Ohio, the training center conducts classes six days a week, providing complimentary introductory sessions for prospective practitioners. Academy founder Professor Fernando Amadeu was born in Brasília, Brazil, and previously served as head instructor at Gracie Barra Albuquerque before moving to Dublin in 2024. Amadeu holds an engineering degree from the University of Brasília and tournament titles including first-place finishes at the 2024 IBJJF Austin Open in both gi and no-gi, and the 2021 IBJJF Chicago Open. The instructional staff also includes Professor Cauê, a black belt since 2016 and Sul Americano champion who formerly instructed tactical teams within Brazil's Federal Highway Patrol.
