Gracie Barra El Paso is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy located at 125 Graphite Dr Suite G in El Paso, Texas. Established in June 2012 by Professor Jeff Vigil, a black belt under Professor Roberto "Tussa" Alencar, the school teaches the standardized martial arts methodology of the global Gracie Barra network. Professor Vigil leads instruction alongside certified coaches including Coach Alejandra and program director Sarah. The curriculum follows structured learning paths: the GBK program introduces youth to martial arts discipline and anti-bullying awareness, GB1 Fundamentals focuses on essential ground defenses and escapes, GB2 Advanced integrates complex transitions and no-gi grappling, and GBF provides dedicated women's self-defense training. Classes are conducted Monday through Saturday across morning, afternoon, and evening blocks, with the academy closed on Sundays. Prospective grapplers and local families can contact the front desk by phone or sign up online to schedule an introductory free class.
