GRACIE BARRA GREENSBORO - BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU & SELF DEFENSE delivers structured martial arts instruction at 1624 Highwoods Boulevard in Greensboro, NC. Operating under the global Gracie Barra banner, the academy teaches standardized Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, situational self-defense, and ground grappling to practitioners of all ages throughout the Greensboro community. The school is led by Head Professor Lucas Nabuco, a second-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt originally from Brasília, Brazil. Professor Nabuco began his martial arts training in 2009 under Professor Lúcio Curado and earned his black belt in 2020 under Professor Rodrigo Gomes. The curriculum follows the systematic Gracie Barra developmental structure, encompassing the GBK youth program, GB1 fundamentals covering essential positions and escapes, GB2 advanced training incorporating complex techniques and live sparring, GBF women's self-defense, and no-gi submission grappling.
