Gracie Barra Madison provides instruction in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Self-Defense from its facility at 525 Hughes Rd. Madison, AL - 35758, USA. Prospective students can contact the academy by telephone at (256) 631-3704. New participants are invited to get started on the mats by scheduling an introductory session to book a free class. The instructional staff is led by Head Professor Henrique alongside Head Coach Nelson. Youth coaching and youth leadership are supported by Juniors Leader Agatha and Kids Leader Rocco, providing age-appropriate instruction across youth age divisions. Training programs include Adult Classes separated into fundamentals (GB1) and advanced (GB2) divisions. The Kids Program organizes students into age-specific groups consisting of Tiny Champions (3 - 4), Little Champions 1 (5 – 6), Little Champions 2 (7 - 9), and Juniors (10 – 15). Students can also attend No-Gi classes where participants train in shorts and a rash guard instead of a traditional gi while practicing wrestling-style takedowns, clinches, and body locks.
