Gracie Barra Saddle Rock Jiu-Jitsu

Gracie Barra Saddle Rock Jiu-Jitsu delivers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and self-defense education at 6770 S Liverpool Street, Suite B, in Aurora, Colorado. The school provides structured martial arts training for children, teenagers, and adult students throughout the Aurora community. Instruction has been directed since 2022 by head coach Professor Arlindo Junior "Juninho", who began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2004 at age 12 in Brazil. Professor Juninho holds a 3rd-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a 4th Dan black belt in Judo, and a Ph.D. in Adapted Physical Activity from the State University of Campinas. His competitive record includes titles as a São Paulo State Champion, Brazilian National Champion, and a third-place finish at the IBJJF Master World Championship. Coursework follows the standardized Gracie Barra curriculum, including GBK Kids and Teens, GB1 Fundamentals for all skill levels, GB2 Advanced grappling, and GB3 Black Belt preparation. Training covers positional control, takedowns, escapes, and joint locks. New students can register online to attend a complimentary trial class.
