Ground Game Theory Jiu Jitsu

Ground Game Theory operates at 9766 SW 24th St, Unit 12, in Miami, Florida 33165. Opened on Nov. 15, 2022, the academy provides specialized no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and mixed martial arts training for adults and children in Miami. Instruction is led by co-founders and head instructors Carlmichael Leiva and Keanoush Amirizadeh, who both hold black belts in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with over ten years of martial arts experience. Coaching utilizes a live, problem-solving approach to jiu jitsu, teaching practitioners to recognize opportunities and make better decisions under pressure without unnecessary pretense. The curriculum features Adult No-Gi Jiu Jitsu training takedowns, pins, reversals, and submissions, alongside MMA classes held on Friday and Sunday. Youth programs provide no-gi instruction for children ages 4 to 12 through interactive games, with membership plans offered on four-week recurring terms alongside day passes.
