Guerreros Judo Club

Guerreros Judo Club operates in City of Industry, California, delivering traditional judo instruction for youth and adult athletes across the San Gabriel Valley. The dojo is supported by the Guerreros Athletic Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to character development, community empowerment, and martial arts education. The dojo traces its origins to founding sensei Frank Sanchez Sr., who was introduced to judo as a teenager and began teaching younger students by age 14. Sensei Frank Sr. built the club around foundational values of respect, resilience, discipline, and humility, emphasizing that judo provides valuable life lessons both on and off the tatami. Classes are organized by age, with tracks for ages 4 to 6, ages 7 to 10, and ages 11 through adult, plus adult judoka of all experience levels. The curriculum focuses on proper falling techniques, off-balancing mechanics, throws, hold-downs, and tournament readiness. Interested students and families can visit during any scheduled class to take advantage of a free one-week trial.
