Hanover Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Hanover Brazilian Jiu Jitsu provides martial arts instruction at 1011 Baltimore Street in Hanover, Pennsylvania. The academy delivers structured training for youth and adult students throughout the Hanover and York region seeking practical self-defense and physical fitness. The instructional leadership includes co-owners Gregg, a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and experienced detective, Dave, a 4th degree Judo black belt and 2nd degree BJJ black belt who practices law, and Monica, a 2nd degree BJJ black belt and 1st degree Judo black belt who directs the Dangerous Damsels program. Classes include adult Gi and No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo throws, specialized women's self-defense, and youth martial arts. Students learn joint locks, positional control, sweeps, and takedown transitions in a cooperative, family-focused environment.
