The academy was founded by Professor Scott Wright, Tyler Brawner, and Jeremy Fleming. Wright began training in 2007 under Grandmaster Relson Gracie and was promoted to black belt in 2021 by Professor Kimo Kreis. The instructional roster includes black belt coaches Kamea Kuaiwa and Sean Smith alongside brown belt coach Derek Hinkley. The academy provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction for adults, teenagers, and youth. Adult programs encompass fundamentals, advanced technique, gi, and no-gi classes. Children and adolescents progress through age-specific divisions, including Lil Ninjas for ages four through six, kids jiu-jitsu for ages seven through twelve, and teen sessions for ages thirteen through seventeen. Additional schedule highlights include competition preparation classes, periodic women's self-defense seminars, and open mat training. Classes emphasize technical leverage, practical self-defense, and safety fundamentals such as proper breakfalls. The gym also hosts a monthly Family Fun Night on the first Friday of each month featuring jiu-jitsu, pizza, and a movie. Prospective students can attend a complimentary free trial class.
