Hayastan MMA Charlotte is located at 1307 Matthew-Mint Hill Rd Unit B in Matthews, NC 28105, serving Charlotte and surrounding communities in North Carolina. The school was established by founder Sensei Paul Booe, who built the training philosophy around continuous improvement. Striking instruction is provided by Kru James Armlin, a certified Muay Thai instructor in the Thai Boxing Association under Ajarn Chai Sirisute who trained in Thailand at camps including Fairtex, OneSongChai, and Lanna Muay Thai. Programs cover grappling disciplines including Judo, Jiujitsu, Sambo, Wrestling, alongside Adult Muay Thai and Adult Wrestling for MMA. Classes are divided by age into Juniors - age 6 to 12 and Adults - age 13 to 80, with youth classes featuring Kids Grappling and Kids Kickboxing/MMA.
