High Altitude Martial Arts

High Altitude Martial Arts delivers combat sports education and athletic instruction at 8988 E Hampden Ave in Denver, Colorado. Established in 2004, the academy provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, striking disciplines, and mixed martial arts training for youth and adult practitioners across the Denver area. The jiu-jitsu program is directed by head instructor Cody Donovan, a third-degree black belt under Amal Easton within the Renzo Gracie lineage and a veteran fighter in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The coaching roster also features professors Avery Brooks, Eric Lee, Adrian Guitierrez, and Jake Hartner, alongside youth instructor Dalton Grinstad and striking coach Darneal Stephens. Course offerings encompass adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, women's grappling classes, mixed martial arts, Level One kickboxing, advanced striking blending boxing, Muay Thai, and clinch mechanics, and structured youth jiu-jitsu divided into Lil Yeti BJJ for ages 4 to 6, Yeti BJJ for ages 7 to 12, and Yeti BJJ Advanced for ages 9 to 12.
