Hips&Grips Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Hips&Grips Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is located at 29 N Main Street in Payette, ID 83661. The academy provides Gi and No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction for practitioners in western Idaho. The gym is directed by owner and head coach Jeremy Calhoun, a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu who won a state championship in Thai Boxing at age 23. Additional instructors include Coach Chris Mio, who serves as lead Judo coach and lead women’s self defense instructor holding a black belt, Coach Chris Beltran, who leads youth classes, and Ed Beemer, who serves as lead MMA coach. Training is held Monday-Friday, featuring regular grappling classes along with a MMA/Thai boxing class on Mondays and Wednesdays. Membership rates run $75-$85 a month for the youth class and $90 a month for the adult class on a month-to-month basis with no contracts. First-time visitors can try their first class free with a borrowed uniform.
