IFS Gym

IFS Gym operates at 8615 Katella Ave. Unit B in Stanton, California, functioning in coordination with the International Fight Showdown combat sports organization. The training facility is directed by founder Master Shawn Shilati, who has practiced martial arts for more than 40 years. According to academy records, "he currently holds a 7th Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do from the World TKD Federation and Kukkiwon in South Korea." Instruction spans striking disciplines, grappling methods, and combative conditioning. Master Shilati serves as an "instructor of Muay Thai kickboxing and Tae Kwon Do," preparing participants for both recreational fitness and combative athletic competitions. Curricula integrate stand-up kicking mechanics, clinching fundamentals, defensive evasions, and ring movement strategies. The Stanton center also hosts competitive preparation for athletes entering amateur Muay Thai, kickboxing, submission grappling, and mixed martial arts events.
