Innovation Jiu Jitsu is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and grappling academy located at 12914 Harbor Blvd in Garden Grove, California. Operating as an affiliate of the Carlson Gracie Jiu Jitsu Team, the school combines traditional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with judo and wrestling principles to build well-rounded grapplers on the mat. The school was established and is directed by owner and head instructor Josue Cuellar, a first-degree black belt who earned his rank under Professor Orlando Alonso at Carlson Gracie Menifee. Cuellar guides training with a focus on discipline, personal resilience, and practical defensive technique. Daily classes cater to both adult and youth students, offering adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fundamentals and open grappling alongside specialized Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Kids and Kids Fundamentals classes. Training emphasizes positional control, leverage, takedowns, and joint submissions in a family-oriented environment.
