Ivy League Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo

Ivy League Jiu Jitsu Academy operates at 13090 SW 248th St, Unit 7 in Princeton, Florida 33032. The school provides martial arts training for students located in Princeton and Homestead. The facility features a dedicated training mat cleaned twice daily to maintain cleanliness. The coaching staff is headed by lead instructor David Pupo, who began training Cuban Olympic style Judo at age 4 and earned his BJJ black belt under Javill Byron in 2022. He is joined by adjunct instructor Patrick Leber, who began training under Byron in 2007 and directs the Jiu-Jitsu Fundamentals program. The coaching staff brings a combined background in grappling and striking to daily training. Class offerings include Kids Jiu-Jitsu/Judo (Ages 8-12), Teens Jiu-Jitsu/Judo (Ages 13-18), and Adults Jiu-Jitsu/Judo (Ages 18+). The academy also conducts a Cardio Kickboxing program and provides students with an open source curriculum. Training sessions incorporate standing throws, ground grappling, and practical self-defense techniques.
