Jax BJJ Club is a martial arts school serving practitioners in Neptune Beach, FL and Atlantic Beach, FL. The club provides instruction in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and grappling arts for local students. Jacksonville Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was established in 2006, after its history began in the '90's. Professor Larry Shealy started training students on mats in a rented storage unit known as the "Hot Box". The academy trains hobbyist students, competitive athletes, law enforcement personnel, and military members. The academy curriculum integrates Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, Judo, mixed-martial arts, and self-defense. Training sessions feature ADULT TRAINING SESSIONS scheduled on Monday, Wednesday, Thursdays 7-8:30 PM. Students develop physical conditioning and grappling skill while working together on the mats.
