Jason Gonzalez Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Jason Gonzalez Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu provides grappling, striking, and practical self-defense education at 2800 Poplar Street in Terre Haute, Indiana. Located on the lower level of the Meadows Shopping Center, the academy serves practitioners throughout the Wabash Valley. The academy was established in 2018 by owner and head instructor Jason Gonzalez, who transitioned from boxing to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2004, earning his black belt in 2021 directly under Master Carlos Machado. The coaching staff also includes Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Bryan Davis, who earned his rank under Amaury Bitetti within the Carlson Gracie lineage in 2022, alongside coach Dustin Wall, a local police officer and purple belt under Coach Gonzalez. Class programming encompasses adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in both gi and no-gi formats, technical boxing, and cardio boxing fitness sessions. Youth martial arts instruction is delivered through the Little Rhinos program, kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and bully-proof self-defense classes. Private training sessions can also be scheduled.
