Jiu-Jitsu Columbus provides martial arts instruction and combat sports training at 506 Manchester Expy, Suite A4 in Columbus, Georgia. Also operating under the name Ground Domain BJJ, the veteran-led facility conducts classes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Muay Thai, and wrestling, extending a complimentary first class to newcomers. Owner and head instructor Professor Brandon Dimick is a second-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Jason Keaton. Dimick brings nearly twenty years of jiu-jitsu training and over twenty-eight years of military service in the United States Army, competing previously as an undefeated amateur mixed martial artist and Army Combatives athlete. The coaching staff features second-degree black belt Dexter Rivers, first-degree black belt Leon Shaw, third-degree Kodokan Judo black belt Christopher Schmitt, Muay Thai instructor Johnny Winchester, and wrestling coach Rob Peterson. Coursework includes adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, youth and teen jiu-jitsu classes, Muay Thai striking, and takedown drills for grappling control, serving families, competitive athletes, and military personnel.
