JJ Grappling Arts operates at 8200 W 33rd Ave, Bay 10 in Hialeah, FL 33018. The academy serves students and families in Hialeah-Miami Lakes. The training program is directed by James Perez, an IBJJF Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt and IJF Judo Black Belt. Sensei Jimmy is the youngest of three Judo black belt brothers and brings over 20 years of coaching experience to the mat. He is joined on the instructional staff by Coach Armando Quintana. The curriculum blends Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, and judo into a structured training system. Class offerings include a youth program introducing kids ages 5–12 to grappling fundamentals, a teen program, and dedicated adult training sessions. Instruction emphasizes strong fundamentals, personal discipline, and active training.
