Jyanguru Dojo

Jyanguru Dojo is a traditional Japanese martial arts school located at 1212 Woodward St Suite 2 in Orlando, Florida. The dojo is dedicated to preserving classical karate-do and weapons training for students throughout the Orlando and Winter Park communities. The school is led by Sensei Seth Petruzelli, who began his martial arts training at age 6 under Shihan Dougherty, alongside instructors Richard Trinh and Sensei Yuki. Instruction centers on Hayashi-ha Shito-ryu Karate-do, teaching classical katas, body mechanics, striking accuracy, and defensive counters. Advanced students can study Okinawan Kobudo, featuring the exclusive weapons syllabus of system founder Teruo Hayashi. Youth programs welcome children starting at age 3, emphasizing balance, coordination, and dojo etiquette on the tatami.
