Kainga Jiu Jitsu is a martial arts school located at 2295 Main St in San Diego and Chula Vista, California. Rooted in Polynesian family values, the academy provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, fitness conditioning, and self-defense instruction in a family-oriented environment. Instruction is led by owner and head coach Joe Nunez, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and former brown belt national champion. Coach Nunez emphasizes flowing movement, work ethic, and character development, working with students ranging from young children to military personnel and competitive athletes. The weekly schedule offers Minis classes for ages 3 to 6, youth training for ages 7 to 12, and evening adult sessions for all belt levels with dedicated no-gi training on Wednesdays. Members also have access to morning training blocks, private lessons, and introductory trial classes.
