Kairos Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Kairos Jiu Jitsu operates at 340 E Main St in Middletown, CT 06457. Established in 2024, the academy delivers Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and combat sports training to students from Middletown and nearby areas including Portland, Cromwell, and Durham. The academy was started by founder Christos Ellinas. Instruction on the mats is supported by staff including Black Belt instructor Jeff Nelson, No Gi instructor Pat Precourt, and Assistant Youth Instructor Brian Roezser. The coaching staff guides both beginner practitioners and advanced athletes through foundational instruction. Programs at the facility include Adult Jiu Jitsu for ages 14+, Adult Kickboxing, and Adult Open Mat sessions. Youth offerings include Kids Jiu Jitsu for ages 5 and older and a dedicated Kids Jiu Jitsu Competition Team, with a one-week free trial available for kids. Training runs Monday through Friday in the late afternoon and evening, alongside weekend morning sessions on Saturday and Sunday.
