Kanjizai Academy of Jiu-Jitsu operates at 5710 Bellona Ave, 2nd Floor, serving Baltimore and Towson, Maryland. Established in 2012, the martial arts academy provides instruction in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, functional self-defense, and combat striking. The school is operated under the direction of head instructor and owner Kevin Lockett, a Certified Gracie Trainer. The instructional team also features Jimmie Gilmer, a Certified Gracie Trainer and youth instructor. The teaching staff leads students through systematic movement progressions, leverage principles, joint locks, and positional controls designed to neutralize aggression without relying on physical mass.
