Kao Muay Thai

Kao Muay Thai delivers traditional Muay Thai striking and combat conditioning at 7710 Maple Avenue in Pennsauken Township, New Jersey. The training academy is led by trainer Phanuwat "Coke" Chunhawat, an accomplished competitor from Thailand who began fighting at age thirteen under the tutelage of Jongsanan "Wooden Man" Fairtex. Chunhawat achieved a ranking of second in his division at Lumpinee Stadium and tenth at Rajadamnern Stadium across a career of more than two hundred professional bouts before relocating to New Jersey to coach. Coursework includes all-levels adult training, technique drilling, bag work, and controlled sparring sessions. Morning and evening class blocks run Monday through Saturday, while Sundays are reserved as rest days. Youth instruction is organized into developmental classes for children ages 6 to 12 and teenagers ages 13 to 17, emphasizing discipline, striking fundamentals, and defensive reflexes. All memberships are offered on a month-to-month basis with no long-term contracts or sign-up fees required.
