KD MMA Montrose

KD MMA Montrose is a neighborhood martial arts branch located at 2131 Verdugo Blvd in Glendale and the Montrose foothills area. Operating as part of the KD MMA training organization founded by head coach Karen Darabedyan, the academy delivers high-standard combat sports coaching. Instruction is led by an experienced coaching roster featuring founder Karen Darabedyan alongside veteran mixed martial artist Sevak Silverback Magakian, boxing and conditioning coach Roma Kalantaryan, and grappling coach Erik Raisyan. Programs include Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, and youth martial arts. The academy runs scheduled group training throughout the week, emphasizing technical development, striking mechanics, and ground grappling. Membership options include multi-tier plans that provide cross-location access to classes, with complimentary trial sessions offered for new students.
