Kim's Hapkido

Kim's Hapkido operates at 32999 Yucaipa Blvd Suite 109 in Yucaipa, California. The school teaches traditional Korean martial arts rooted in Jang Mu Won Hapkido, providing self-defense education for toddlers, children, teenagers, and adult students. Training programs include Little Dragons for ages 2 to 4, Junior Hapki for ages 4 to 5, children self-defense, and weapons training. The martial art of Jang Mu Won Hapkido was established by Grandmaster Chong S. Kim, who brought the system to California in 1973 after serving as one of twelve hapkido masters touring Asia. Kim was recognized as Instructor of the Year by Black Belt Magazine in 2001, shaping a curriculum centered on relaxation, breathing, and redirection of force. Students develop balance, spatial awareness, practical joint locks, kicking techniques, and traditional forms.
