Kioto BJJ Chattanooga operates at 6211 Lee Hwy. #236 in Chattanooga, TN 37421. New students can register online to claim a free trial class. The school belongs to the Kioto Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu system founded in 1965 by Grand Master Francisco Mansor. Francisco Mansor trained under Grand Master Helio Gracie, becoming one of twenty-two individuals to receive a Black Belt directly from Helio Gracie, with only six awarded outside of the Gracie family. Class options at the Chattanooga dojo include KIDS Jiu Jitsu starting at age 3, Adults Jiu Jitsu for ages 14+, and Fundamental Classes designed for ages 14+. The academy features a Summer Promotion for Beginner Adult Jiu Jitsu at $85/mo without sign-up or cancellation fees. Training guidelines require participants to check in at the front desk, remove shoes before stepping on the mats, and store personal gear neatly inside cubbies.
