Kovar's Satori Academy of Martial Arts operates a local branch at 9168 Franklin Boulevard, Suite E, in Elk Grove, California. Training at the Laguna academy is led by Head Instructor Patrick Kelly, a 5th-degree black belt who has been training since 1995, supported by 5th-degree black belt instructor Jason Duarte and Program Director Leigha Aguinaga. The school offers structured martial arts instruction combining elements of Karate striking, Taekwondo kicks, practical Krav Maga self-defense techniques, and bully prevention through the Live Safe Program. Training cohorts range from the Mini Samurai curriculum for young children to structured youth and teen courses, as well as adult martial arts classes designed to enhance cardiovascular fitness and practical defense capability. Classes run Monday through Saturday with afternoon, evening, and weekend time slots. Prospective students and parents can view current schedules and book an introductory trial class directly through the academy's web portal.
