Krossface Jiu Jitsu is a martial arts school situated at 3694 San Pablo Dam Rd within the Thai Town plaza in El Sobrante, California. The academy is owned and instructed by Baldwin Chu, who began training jiu-jitsu at age 17 and earned his black belt in 2022 from Jake Scovel and Kurt Osiander. Chu brings tournament experience from major IBJJF events, incorporating his technical guard and crossface pressure into team instruction. The curriculum focuses on leverage and body mechanics to control opponents in both sport competition and self-defense scenarios. Prospective students can register for a complimentary trial class, with private lessons available for individualized coaching.
