Ladera Ranch MMA is a combat sports training center situated at 200 Corporate Dr inside the 24 Hour Fitness facility in Ladera Ranch, California. Operating as the first MMA team in Ladera Ranch, the academy helps practitioners develop self-defense capability and athletic discipline. Instruction is directed by head coach and owner Leonardo Mafra, guiding students through technical martial arts development, physical conditioning, and mental strength. Training emphasizes respect, emotional control, and leadership both on and off the mats. The academy provides structured programs for adults alongside dedicated youth classes teaching the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, and Muay Thai through teamwork. Members also have access to private lessons and small group sessions, with introductory trial classes offered for new participants.
