Lakeside Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu delivers traditional grappling and martial arts instruction at 4101 N. Broadway in Chicago, Illinois. Situated in Chicago, the academy specializes in old school Carlson Gracie Brazilian jiu-jitsu training, serving students across the city with gi and no-gi grappling disciplines for practitioners of all experience levels. Instruction is led by 2nd degree black belt Anthony Cruz, who coaches beginner, all-levels, and competition jiu-jitsu classes. The academy's teaching roster also features black belt instructors Stephen Luster and Beth Garcia, along with coaches Deuce Rachal, Jim Neitzel, Mike Noren, and Mousa Jodeh. Stand-up grappling and throwing technique is directed by judo instructor Shingo Uto, teaching judo as a standalone discipline and as it applies to jiu-jitsu ground fighting.
