Lincoln Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Center

Lincoln Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Center delivers grappling and mixed combat instruction at 4707 Prescott Ave in the College View area of Lincoln, Nebraska. Established on April 24, 2013, the academy provides technical martial arts training for youth students, adults, and tournament competitors. The school was co-founded by Greg Lawson, Conan Schafer, and Jerad Downs. Its teaching lineage traces from Mitsuyo Maeda through Carlos Gracie Sr., Helio Gracie, Carlos Gracie Junior, and Mauricio Tinguinha Mariano to Gregory Lawson. Head instructor Greg Lawson holds a third-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The coaching roster includes second-degree black belt Nick Honstein, first-degree black belts Conan Schafer and Jerad Downs, MMA coach Michael Aquila, and Judo black belt Josh Cather. Curriculum offerings include a 24-week adult fundamentals curriculum, advanced gi grappling, all-levels no-gi jiu-jitsu, and mixed martial arts sparring. Youth classes feature Little Spiders for ages 4 to 7 and youth fundamentals for ages 8 to 15. Students drill escapes, positional dominance, takedowns, and joint submissions.
