Lincoln Martial Arts Center operates at 4815 S 14th St Suite D in Lincoln, Nebraska. The school teaches traditional martial arts disciplines within the lineage of the Sho-Rei-Shobu-Kan Budo Organization, established by John Roseberry, a tenth-degree black belt in karate, seventh-degree black belt in judo, and 1964 U.S. Olympic Judo Team alternate. Instruction is guided by volunteer instructors who teach traditional combative arts. The teaching roster includes Spaulding Sensei, who began training in aikido, judo, and jujitsu in 1975, alongside chief instructor Pitts Sensei, a former police officer and defensive tactics instructor. Instructors focus on methodical technical progressions, joint locks, throws, and student safety under established Safe Sport standards. Training options at the Lincoln facility encompass jujitsu classes, judo, aikido, kobudo, karate, and youth martial arts programs. Students progress through structured belt rankings, physical conditioning, and traditional drills designed to cultivate personal discipline, mental focus, and practical defensive skills.
