LKE Dojo

LKE Dojo operates on the second floor of the Hawai'i Martial Arts Center at 555 N. King Street in Honolulu, Hawaii. The dojo is dedicated to providing Women+ only Muay Thai instruction, focusing on practical striking techniques and physical empowerment. Classes are led by Coach Aileen, a former competitive fighter in Muay Thai, kickboxing, and mixed martial arts. Aileen transitioned from a sound engineering career in Hollywood to pursue combat sports full time, training under Kru Puk, the pioneer who established the first Muay Thai gym in the United States. She was also mentored for years under Haru Shimanishi, developing a coaching philosophy centered on striking mechanics, pad work, and defensive footwork. The academy offers a structured weekly roster of classes capped at 20 students, including The Eight for beginners, Primal Flow, Rebel Roots, Leg Day, and invitation-only Level 1.5 training. Private one-on-one sessions are also available with Coach Aileen. Prospective students can create an account and book an introductory session via the dojo website.
