Marcelo Alonso BJJ

Marcelo Alonso BJJ maintains its academy headquarters at 5020 Roosevelt Way NE Unit #4 in Seattle, WA 98105. The academy has served students in the Seattle area since settling in the Pacific Northwest in 1997. Marcelo Alonso serves as HEAD PROFESSOR at the academy. Alonso was awarded his black belt in 1995 under Master Carlson Gracie and was awarded the coral belt in January 2024. The instructional staff also includes instructor Sean Ryan alongside youth coach Eric Pete Peterson. The school organizes its curriculum into dedicated pathways including the Adult Gi Program, Adult no-Gi Program, and Kids Program. Training options accommodate practitioners seeking both gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and no-gi sessions, while youth programs provide age-appropriate instruction.
