Marcelo Garcia Jiu-Jitsu Association of Connecticut operates at 775 Wood Avenue in Bridgeport CT 06604. Accessible to practitioners across Fairfield and New Haven county, the school serves students from Bridgeport, Westport, Fairfield, Trumbull, Milford, Orange, Stratford, and Shelton. Instruction on the mats is led by Head instructor and Owner Joao Luz. Professor Joao is a registered IBJJF black belt who has earned his 2nd degree and has been associated under Marcelo Garcia since 2009. He brings twenty plus years of training experience to his guidance of students on the mats. Training programs provide Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction for Men, Women & Kids. The academy offers classes for kids starting as young as 4 years old to build confidence and discipline. Adult offerings include Fundamental classes and Advanced classes, and new students can get started with an offer where your first class is free.
