Mavericks Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu operates at 2324 Jacaman Rd., Ste 104, in Laredo, Texas. The training academy offers both in-person instruction and online courses hosted at mavericksbjj.ezycourse.com. Instruction is provided by Felipe Martínez, who serves as Founder & Head Coach. He is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt and Judo Brown Belt with +20 Years of Experience in martial arts. He coaches alongside Edna Jiménez, who serves as BJJ Coach and holds a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Brown Belt with +9 Years of Experience. The school offers Adult BJJ for ages 15 and up, providing training through a Fundamentals or Advanced program. Youth instruction is delivered through kids & Teens classes, while grappling practitioners can join the No gi training program. The facility also features seasonal women-only classes and a Takedown class integrating techniques from Judo, wrestling, and BJJ.
