Mentality Martial Arts operates at 1447 Mayport Road Units 1 - 2 in Atlantic Beach, FL 32233. Technical training at the gym is conducted by Coach John, who oversees student progression on the mats. Coach John works closely with beginners to establish solid fundamentals while challenging experienced grapplers. The coaching staff emphasizes respectful conduct, safety, and consistent athletic development. The academy offers a Kids Program for ages 5+ and 9+, along with dedicated Adults Program sessions and Homeschool Jiu Jitsu. Classes are always free to watch and the first trial class is free. Training includes both GI and NOGI classes, as well as a 2 hour Sunday Open Mat open to students from other gyms for cross training.
