Migration Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu operates at 5406 S 34th Ave in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The neighborhood grappling academy provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction, positional ground defense, and martial arts education for youth and adult students throughout south Minneapolis and surrounding local neighborhoods. Instruction at the academy is headed by black belt instructors Tony Davis and Kelsey Forman. Mat training guides practitioners through fundamental escapes, guard retention, positional control, and submission finishes. The coaches cultivate a supportive and technical mat culture focused on continuous skill improvement, leverage mechanics, and partner safety. The academy structures its programs to serve both beginning grapplers and experienced practitioners. Course offerings feature adult gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes for students ages 16 and older alongside open mat sessions. Youth coursework serves children ages 5 to 15 in both uniform and submission grappling styles, supported by contract-free memberships and introductory trial classes.
