Minnesota Kali Group

Minnesota Kali Group was established when Rick Faye founded the academy in 1982. The organization originated in Minneapolis where Rick Faye is the head instructor, expanding to include a branch at 7119 Amundson Ave Edina MN 55439. The coaching staff maintains a direct lineage to Bruce Lee and Dan Inosanto. Guest seminar opportunities have featured martial artists such as Guro Dan Inosanto, Grandmaster Chai Sirisute, and Sifu Francis Fong. Facility amenities include three separate class spaces at MKG, alongside free weights, cardio machines, heavy bags, speed bags and Wing Chun dummies. Training divisions include Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), Thai Boxing (Muay Thai), and Jeet Kune Do (JKD). Students can also participate in MKG Blend FMA – Kali & Panantukan, MKG Boxing, and Silat (Indo-Malay Martial Arts), with younger students attending Youth Martial Arts Classes (Ages 7 – 14).
