Moon Dragon Dojo

Moon Dragon Dojo operates at 3398 Adeline Street, near 62nd Street, in Berkeley, California. The community martial arts dojo provides traditional Cuong Nhu karate instruction, self-defense techniques, and physical fitness conditioning for children and adult students. Instruction is directed by co-head instructors Master Allyson Appen, a seventh-degree black belt holding the title of Shichidan, and Rosanne Boudreau, a third-degree black belt holding the rank of Sandan. The teaching staff also includes second-degree black belt instructors Alyssandra Yochelson and Jennifer Argle, carrying forward the lineage of Grandmaster Quynh. Class schedules accommodate youth and adult practitioners with structured group training sessions throughout the week. The curriculum incorporates traditional katas, practical self-defense maneuvers, striking drills, and conditioning exercises in a supportive, family-friendly dojo environment.
